Psyllium Husk is a natural plant fibre derived from the outer husks of Plantago ovata seeds. It is commonly used as a dietary fibre supplement and as a functional ingredient in gluten-free and low-carb baking. When mixed with liquid, psyllium forms a gel that helps improve texture, binding and moisture retention in doughs and batters. It is widely used in breads, pastries and fibre-enriched recipes.
