Refund policy

We take great care to ensure that every Hatton Hill product reaches you in perfect condition.

This policy explains when and how you can return items purchased from us.

1. Legal Right to Cancel (Consumers)

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must notify us by email at hello@hattonhill.com within 14 days of receiving your order.

You then have another 14 days to return the goods to us at your own cost (unless the item is faulty or sent in error).

2. Hygiene and Food Safety

As we sell food and edible products, returns cannot be accepted for any items that have been opened, unsealed, or otherwise not in their original condition, due to hygiene and safety regulations.

This includes any herbs, spices, grains, flours, or similar food products once opened.

You may return unopened items if:

- The item is unused and in its original sealed packaging; and

- You contact us within 14 days of delivery.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at hello@hattonhill.com with your order details and (if possible) a photograph of the issue.

Once verified, we will offer either a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs.

4. Returns Procedure

To request a return, please email hello@hattonhill.com before sending any items.

We will confirm whether your return is accepted and provide the return address.

Items returned without prior authorization cannot be processed.

All returns should be sent to the same address from which the goods were shipped unless otherwise instructed.

You are responsible for ensuring the goods are packaged securely for return.

5. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will confirm whether a refund is approved.

If approved, a refund will be made to your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please note your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The right to return or cancel does not apply to:

- Perishable goods, including food products, once opened or unsealed;

- Custom or personalised orders;

- Digital or downloadable items;

- Sale items or gift cards.

7. Wholesale Orders (B2B)

Wholesale transactions are not subject to consumer cancellation rights and are final and non-refundable, except where required by law or at our sole discretion.
