Organic Wholegrain Oat Flour by Hatton Hill Organic. Milled from oats organically grown, harvested and dried in Finland. Packed in the UK.

Oat flour is an increasingly popular ingredient in gluten-free cooking. In baking, it’s a healthy substitute for standard wheat flour (although you may want to combine it with other flours, as it's quite dense), and since oats are a wholegrain food, it's richer in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fibre and protein than all-purpose wheat flour.

Our organic wholegrain oat flour has a subtly sweet, slightly toasty, nutty flavour with a note of caramel in baked goods that pairs well with ingredients such as apples, berries, bananas, dried fruit such as cranberries, dates and raisins, spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg, coffee, chocolate, coconut, vanilla and fuller-flavoured sugars such as brown sugar, coconut sugar and maple syrup. 

You can use our organic wholegrain oat flour in all kinds of recipes for preparations such as pancakes, waffles, cookies, muffins, fruit crumbles and even savoury recipes such as bean loaves (like meat loaves, sans the meat, with beans and pulses standing in), vege-burgers and stuffings for roasted vegetables, chicken and anything else you can stuff.
