Organic Mung Beans by Hatton Hill Organic. Organically grown, harvested and dried in Uzbekistan. Packed in the UK.

Hatton Hill Organic’s mung beans have a heritage that can be traced back almost 5,000 years to ancient Persia (Iran), although today they are cultivated primarily in North, South and Southeast Asia. Ours are grown in Uzbekistan, harvested in their prime and dried for cooking or sprouting later.

PURE, PREMIUM PRODUCT: Hatton Hill Organic’s mung beans belong to the legume family, meaning that they are pulses, like beans, and contain many – if not more – of the same nutrients.

USES: Hatton Hill Organic’s mung beans are an incredibly versatile food. They can be cooked as stews, curries, salads, a huge range of side dishes, soups, desserts and drinks, and sprouted, mainly for use in salads and other fresh dishes.

KEEPING YOU FULL OF BEANS: Did you know that one cup (around 200g) of boiled mung beans contains 14.2g of protein and 15.4g of fibre, alongside 80% of the recommended daily intake (RDI) of folate (vitamin B9), 30% of the RDI of manganese, 24% of magnesium, 22% of vitamin B1, 20% of phosphorus, 16% of iron, 16% of copper, 15% of potassium, 11% of zinc and rich doses of vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6 and selenium? If mung beans aren’t a superfood, nothing is. And Hatton Hill Organic ensures you’re getting the nothing but the best.
