Mullein Leaves (Mullein Tea)
Mullein Leaves (Mullein Tea) by Hatton Hill. Grown, harvested and dried in Turkey. Packed in the UK.
Mullein is a flowering plant native to Europe, Africa and Asia. Its leaves are used to make a rich, aromatic tea that people have used for centuries to help deal with a range of ailments including coughs, colds and asthma.
Aside from tea, you can use our mullein leaves to infuse oils such as olive and sunflower oil: simply fill a jar with them, pour in enough oil to cover, and leave for 3-6 weeks for the flavour to develop before straining out the plant components.

The mullein plant is a beautiful member of the mullein family, which attracts attention with its yellow flowers. We carefully collect this plant, whose Latin name is verbascum thapsus, from the most fertile lands in the world and turn it into tea for you. Mullein, which grows between 60 and 200 cm in height, can be recognised immediately with its upright stem covered with fine hairs, yellow flowers and its unique appearance.
The plant’s main homeland is Europe. The sun-loving mullein blooms between summer and autumn, when the sun is most intense. Mullein, which can find the opportunity to grow spontaneously in the fields, is also loved by many creatures, especially honey bees, with the pleasant smell of its flowers. Our Mullein Leaves (Mullein Tea) are vegan and vegetarian.
